Websites

Website design in Columbus, Indiana.

A site that looks like your work and answers what people ask before they call. Hand coded, quick on a phone, and yours to keep.

Who it’s for

Good at the work. Stuck with the website.

No site yet. A Facebook page doing a website’s job. Or an old site nobody can change. I build a clear, simple one.

What you get

  • A page for each main service, written for your town
  • Your number one tap away on every page
  • A request form. Someone fills it out, and you get an email.
  • Built for phones first
  • Set up the way Google reads a site: titles, headings, sitemap and your business details
  • Your domain and accounts in your name
  • The first 30 days of fixes and small changes after launch

How it goes

Five steps. You always know the next one.

Most of it happens on your phone, on your schedule.

  1. Tell me about your business

Three boxes, a call or a text. What you do, where you work and what you have now.

  2. Say yes on your proposal page

Your plan, price and terms on one page made for you. Sign by typing your name, and I send the first bill.

  3. Fill out a short form

About 15 minutes: your services, your area, your logo and your photos. Skip what you don’t know yet.

  4. Look over your site

A private link to the whole site within a week of having everything. You send one list of changes.

  5. Go live

Pay the balance and it goes live on your domain. After the first month, pick an upkeep plan or take it with you.

What it costs

One written price. Before anything starts.

Every site is quoted on its own page, and the number doesn’t move unless you ask for more. What sets it:

  • How many pagesOne page for each main service, plus home, about and contact.
  • Who writes itSend me your words, or answer my questions and I write them.
  • Your photosUse what you have, or add a film day and get photos and video of your own work.
  • New featuresAnything beyond the plan gets a price in writing first.
  • Getting set up onlineGoogle Business Profile, business email and your Facebook page, set up for you if you want it.

Questions

Websites, answered.

How much does a website cost in Columbus, Indiana?

It depends on how many pages you need, who writes them, your photos and any extra features. You get one written price on your own proposal page before anything starts, and it doesn’t move unless you ask for more.

How long does it take to build a website?

Once I have your form, photos, wording and logo, you get a private link to the whole site within a week. Then one round of changes, and it goes live once it’s paid.

What do I need ready before you start?

Not much. The short form asks for your services, your area and your logo if you have one. Photos of your work help the most. Skip anything you don’t know yet and we figure it out together.

Do I own my website when it’s done?

Yes. Once it’s paid in full, the site and its content are yours. Your domain, email, Google profile and Facebook page stay in your name, and you can take the site with you any time.

Do you use WordPress or Wix?

No. Every site is hand coded. Wix sites can’t be moved, and WordPress needs plugin updates to stay safe. Yours is plain, quick files that any developer can take over.

Can I make changes after it’s live?

Yes. The first 30 days of fixes and small changes are included. After that, an upkeep plan covers small changes you text me, and one plan adds a login so you can change your own rates and photos.

Do you redesign websites I already have?

Yes. I rebuild it from scratch on the same domain, so the address people know keeps working.

Will my site work on phones?

Yes. It’s designed for a phone first and then widened for a computer, not the other way around.

Do you set up Google Business Profile?

Yes, if you add it. It’s what puts you on Google Maps and holds your reviews. Google decides when to verify a profile, so I can’t promise a date for that part.

Do you build websites in Greenwood, Greensburg or Bloomington?

Yes. A website can be built from anywhere, and all three are close enough to meet in person or film your work. Areas I serve.
